Augusta University’s AU Brew-N-Que fundraiser is set to return on Friday, Oct. 17, after last year’s cancellation caused by Hurricane Helene. The event will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the D. Douglas Barnard, Jr. Amphitheatre on the Summerville Campus.

Hosted by the Summerville Alumni Society, the event serves as the kickoff for Parent and Family Weekend and raises funds for undergraduate student scholarships. Attendees can expect a meal catered by Sconyers Bar-B-Que and live music performed by the Brandon Henson Trio.

Activities at Brew-N-Que are designed for all ages, featuring a kids’ zone with inflatables and face painting, along with a fireworks display at dusk. Tickets are available for $25 in advance or $30 at the gate and can be purchased online.

Georgia’s Own Credit Union is this year’s presenting sponsor. Other sponsors include Horizon Motor Coach, Center for Primary Care, Serrotta Maddocks and Evans, Security Federal Bank, Murphy Auto Group, Richardson Professional Solutions, Village Deli/Cantina Locale, All Star Jumper and Keen Signs.

“AU Brew-N-Que offers fun for all ages, including a kids’ zone with inflatables and face painting, and a dazzling fireworks display at dusk — bringing together Jaguar Nation and the local community in celebration and support of our students.”
