Fanta is launching a Halloween-themed event in New York City called the Haunted Fanta Factory, which will take place from October 29 to 31 at High Line Nine. The event coincides with the upcoming theatrical releases of “Black Phone 2” and “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2.” Fanta has partnered with Universal Pictures and Blumhouse to create an immersive experience where attendees encounter characters from popular horror films, including The Grabber from “Black Phone,” Freddy Fazbear from “Five Nights at Freddy’s,” M3gan, Chucky, and Michael Myers.

Inside the factory, each department is themed around a different horror character, providing interactive challenges for participants. The aim is for fans to protect their supply of Fanta through these experiences. This initiative is part of a global partnership that includes limited-edition cans featuring special flavors such as Fanta Chucky’s Punch, as well as other variants inspired by the movie characters.

Special QR codes on the packaging allow consumers to access exclusive digital content related to the campaign. Ibrahim Salim Khan, Global VP of Fanta, commented on the campaign: “This year’s Fanta Halloween campaign has been a scream, quite literally. When five iconic horror villains came after their delicious Fanta, people didn’t run, they hunted down every collectible pack and flavor. Far from being scared, they went on a full-blown monster chase. We’re not done yet. As Halloween night creeps closer, we’re teaming with Universal Pictures and Blumhouse to bring you a one-of-a-kind scare.”

Although tickets for the New York City event are sold out, there will be limited walk-in entry available each day. Additional details can be found here. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual version of the Haunted Fanta Factory is available online, allowing fans worldwide to participate in themed activities and explore rooms based on the horror franchises. The virtual experience can be accessed here.
