IAM District 142 recently held its second annual charity golf tournament at Papago Golf Course in Phoenix, with proceeds going to Guide Dogs of America and Tender Loving Canines. The event is a key fundraiser for the organization, drawing competition among various IAM districts.

Funds raised from the tournament, along with contributions from games and donated prizes, are used to train and place service dogs. These dogs assist people who are visually impaired, veterans experiencing PTSD, and children with autism. All services provided by Guide Dogs of America and Tender Loving Canines are offered at no cost to recipients. More information about their programs can be found at https://www.guidedogsofamerica.org/.

Staff from Guide Dogs of America attended the event with puppies in training. Participants expressed support for the cause and noted the importance of the funds raised during the tournament.

“Attendees, including staff from Guide Dogs of America with puppies in training, express enthusiasm for the cause and the event’s success in raising significant funds. To learn more about GDA | TLC, visit guidedogsofamerica.org.”
