The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) has extended the registration deadline for its Retirees Education and Strategy Program (RESP), scheduled to take place at the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Hollywood, Maryland, from September 21-26, 2025.

According to IAM, registrations must now be received by Monday, August 18, 2025.

The RESP program is designed for retired and nearly retired members. It offers resources and education on a range of topics relevant to retirees’ lives. The program aims to provide participants with skills and tools to support other retirees facing issues such as organizing Retirees Clubs, legislative and political strategies, Social Security and Medicare programs, creating action plans for Retiree Clubs, engaging in Alliance for Retired Americans activities, and recruiting retired member volunteers.

“If you have any questions about this program, please contact the Retirees and Membership Assistance Department at 301-967-4717,” the organization stated.

For more information or to read the call letter regarding the program, interested individuals are encouraged to visit IAM’s official website.
