The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) has extended the registration deadline for its 2025 Retirees Conference to Monday, September 15, 2025. The event is scheduled for October 20-22 at the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront in Cocoa Beach, Florida.

This year’s conference carries the theme “Leaders and Legends,” aiming to recognize the contributions of IAM retirees while focusing on future efforts within the union. According to organizers, attendees will have opportunities to connect with fellow members from across North America, share experiences, and discuss ways to enhance retiree engagement in union activities.

“This gathering is more than just a conference; it is also a celebration of solidarity and strength. Retirees and future retirees from across North America will come together to build community, share experiences, and strategize on how to elevate retiree engagement within our union.”

Conference programming includes guest speakers, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities for IAM members. A special tour of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center is planned for Wednesday, October 22.

Organizers emphasize that both conference and hotel registrations are due by September 15.
