IAM Local 1746 and the IAM Union Eastern Territory have continued their annual support for East Hartford Public School in Connecticut by taking part in a backpack rally event. This marks the fifth consecutive year of their involvement. The IAM Local 1746 Women’s Committee, together with volunteers from both groups, collected donations, packed backpacks, and participated as a vendor during the distribution day.
During the event, volunteers distributed thousands of items including IAM union pencils, pens, rulers, activity books, stickers, and other supplies to students.
