Members of IAM Local SC 711 at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas have ratified a new three-year collective bargaining agreement with M1 Support Services and its subcontractors. The contract, effective January 1, 2026, covers workers in 29 job classifications, including aircraft mechanics, avionics technicians, supply clerks, and librarians.
The agreement includes an 11.4% compounded general wage increase over three years—4.5% in the first year, 3.5% in the second year, and 3% in the third year. Other terms include increased paid leave with eight additional hours of sick leave for all members, a 5% rise in 401(k) contributions, maintenance of the IAM pension plan, an additional $390 per month earned during the contract period, and company coverage of increases to the rehabilitation plan. New provisions on on-call and standby pay as well as protections for overtime pay are also part of the deal.

I thank the committee for their efforts, our members for standing strong, and IAM Aerospace Coordinator Denise Heath, whose expertise and steady guidance were key to securing this strong agreement.”

IAM Local SC 711 became an independent local union in 2016 after previously being part of another amalgamated local more than 25 miles away. Since then it has aimed to better represent its members’ needs by increasing meeting participation and strengthening its presence at Nellis Air Force Base.
