As the year comes to a close, International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) International President Brian Bryant has extended holiday greetings to union members and their families.

In his message, Bryant recognized the work done by IAM members across various industries. “IAM Union members make the holidays happen – and your union couldn’t be prouder of the work you do,” said Bryant. He noted that IAM represents workers in sectors such as airports, railroads, shops, facilities, and worksites that are essential to daily life.

Bryant acknowledged the sacrifices made by union members who continue working during the holiday season. “From our airports and railroads to the shops, facilities, and worksites that millions rely on every day, your talent and dedication keep this country running, even as others head home to celebrate. I see the sacrifice, the long hours, and the pride you take in your craft. It doesn’t go unnoticed.”

He also emphasized the importance of solidarity within the union: “The holidays also remind us that our union is more than contracts and negotiations – it’s a family. It’s the way we show up for one another, lift each other, and make sure no member stands alone. That spirit of solidarity is what makes the IAM Union strong, and it’s what gives me hope for the year ahead.”

Bryant concluded his message with gratitude for members’ contributions both within their communities and beyond: “Thank you for everything you do, not just for our union, but for your communities and for working people everywhere. We are grateful for each and every one of you.”

He wished all members peace during this season: “On behalf of the entire IAM Executive Council, I wish you and your loved ones a season filled with peace, warmth, and gratitude – and a New Year full of hope and opportunity.”
