IAM retirees recently gathered at the IAM Retirees Conference to share their experiences and insights from years of union activity. The event highlighted the continued commitment of retired members to the values of dignity, fairness, and strong labor contracts.

Retirees reflected on their careers and discussed the lessons they learned as active members. Their collective message emphasized the importance of ongoing participation in union activities. They encouraged current members to remain involved, engaged, and committed to organizing efforts.

According to statements from attendees, “Their message to today’s members is clear: get involved, stay engaged, and keep organizing.”

The conference demonstrated that even after retirement, IAM members continue to play an important role in supporting the organization’s mission.
