The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) recently held its 2025 Joint Air Transport Safety Committee (JATSC) Conference at the William W. Winpisinger Center in Hollywood, Maryland. The event focused on advancing collaborative safety initiatives within the air transport sector.

During the conference, participants emphasized several key areas, including the promotion of programs such as the Ground Safety Action Program. The committee also discussed ongoing efforts to prevent injuries and reduce workplace hazards, support training and education for workers, and advocate for strong safety reporting systems.
