IAM Union leaders visit Wisconsin facilities to highlight member skills at Mercury Marine and John Deere

IAM Union International President Brian Bryant, Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett, and Chief of Staff Vinny Addeo visited IAM Local 1947 members at Mercury Marine and Local 873 members at John Deere in Wisconsin. The tours were organized by local officials to showcase the work being done by union members at these facilities.

During the visits, Bryant shared his impressions of the workers’ craftsmanship. “I am very impressed with the quality of work and skill I saw from our union members making Mercury Outboard engines and premium John Deere equipment,” said Bryant.

Employees at Mercury Marine highlighted their expertise in machining, pouring, and grinding processes. They emphasized their pride in producing American-made products.
