IAM union members at Atlantic Aviation Teterboro have ratified a new collective bargaining agreement, according to an announcement from the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM). The agreement was negotiated by IAM District 142 and brings changes to wages, benefits, and working conditions for employees at the facility.

The contract includes wage increases for all classifications, a $1,500 signing bonus, retroactive pay dating back to the contract’s expiration, premium increases, sick time buyback provisions, and improvements to vacation accrual. It also addresses surveillance language, progressive discipline language, and shift language.

“This agreement reflects the power of union solidarity and the commitment of our members at Atlantic Aviation TEB,” said IAM Air Transport Territory General Vice President Richie Johnsen. “This contract was won by the hard work, unity, and determination of our membership.”

IAM District 142 stated that its team will collaborate with company leadership to ensure full understanding and timely execution of the new contract.

“This contract delivers meaningful economic gains and important workplace protections,” said IAM District 142 President and Directing General Chair John M. Coveny, Jr. “It’s what our members fought for and what they have more than earned.”

The union emphasized its ongoing commitment to advocating for member rights through collective action and strong contracts.
