District 77 members in Minnesota have contributed to Unity One Credit Union’s annual Toys for Tots drive, aiming to support families in need during the holiday season. Locals 737 and 459 passed funding motions that provided a large portion of this year’s donations. Their efforts resulted in over $1,600 worth of toys being delivered to local families.

Members participated by shopping for toys and delivering them, ensuring children across the community benefit from the drive.

“IAM District 77 and its locals came together to make a difference for families during the holidays,” said IAM Midwest Territory General Vice President Sam Cicinelli. “Their effort speaks volumes about who we are as a union. I’m proud of the work our members continue to do in their communities.”

“Supporting Toys for Tots reflects the spirit of solidarity our members show all year,” said IAM Local 737 President Eric Jorgensen. “Locals 737 and 459 didn’t just contribute funds, they put in the time, energy, and heart to make sure kids in our community feel the joy of the season. I’m proud of the generosity our members continue to demonstrate.”

The tradition of giving back remains important for District 77 as it continues its efforts to assist local families during the holidays.
