Since 2019, Paceline has contributed $1.7 million to the Georgia Cancer Center at Augusta University through 33 grants, with all fundraising proceeds supporting cancer research. Organizers are encouraging participation in PaceDay 2025, emphasizing that every dollar raised goes toward advancing efforts to cure cancer.

Last year’s PaceDay was cancelled due to Hurricane Helene, but despite the setback, supporters managed to raise over $250,000 for seven additional cancer research projects. This year’s event aims to build on that momentum and further support ongoing initiatives.

Participants can choose from six activity options suited for various skill levels, including walking, running, or cycling. Those unable to take part physically can register as a Paceline Pal without a registration fee or fundraising minimum to help their team reach its goals.

Children ages 3-13 can join the 5K event for a $25 registration fee and will receive a T-shirt along with food and drinks; children under three may participate for free. The event is designed to be family-friendly and inclusive.

PaceDay also offers opportunities for community members to volunteer in support roles. Organizers highlight that volunteers are essential for making the event possible.

The timing of this year’s PaceDay is expected to offer cooler fall weather conditions. Participants will have access to resources such as a fundraising dashboard and toolkit, guides for social media campaigns, and promotional materials.

Paceline merchandise will be available before and after the race. The day concludes with a celebration at Augusta Common featuring live music, food, drinks, and activities for families.

“100% of all fundraising supports innovative cancer research at Augusta University’s Georgia Cancer Center. Since 2019, Paceline has invested $1.7 million into the GCC through 33 awarded grants.”

“Although PaceDay was cancelled last year due to Hurricane Helene, participants, sponsors and supporters still raised more than $250,000 that went toward an additional seven cancer research projects. This year, we want to do even more to support the mission.”

“PaceDay allows people from all walks of life to mingle and come together for a common cause. You’ll find yourself interacting with people who share similar mindsets and life experiences as you, creating close bonds within your circle and the Augusta community.”

“Paceline wouldn’t be possible without help from volunteers.”

“To celebrate all of your hard work and contributions, join the party at the finish line at Augusta Common for participants and loved ones to enjoy! There will be live music, food, drinks and plenty of family fun.”
