At the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce’s final Member Economic Luncheon of 2025, two local organizations were recognized for their business achievements and contributions to the community. The Chamber’s annual Best In Business awards honored Russell Wyatt of PC Techware as Augusta’s Entrepreneur for 2025, while Vinea Capital was named Corporation of the Year.

Russell Wyatt, founder and CEO of PC Techware, has led his company to become a prominent cybersecurity and compliance provider in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA). Over the past three years, PC Techware has more than doubled its workforce and increased revenues by over 35%. The company has implemented new technical standards, integrated AI-driven triage systems, and established processes aimed at improving client service. Ninety-five percent of PC Techware’s clients are based locally, and all payroll remains within the region. The company also donates approximately $100,000 annually in financial support and services to organizations such as the Red Cross, Ronald McDonald House, and Aquinas High School. As part of this recognition, Wyatt will join the Augusta Metro Chamber’s Board of Directors in 2026.

Vinea Capital received Corporation of the Year honors due to its expansion across multiple sectors including healthcare, real estate, sports and entertainment, and hospitality. The company now employs 282 people—up from 157—and has grown revenues by more than 55% in recent years. Vinea Capital operates programs for children with autism and adults with developmental disabilities; it is also preparing to open a flight school that will offer commercial pilot training locally. Through its foundation, Vinea Capital has distributed nearly $700,000 to nonprofits focused on supporting special needs populations and underserved youth. Founder Allan Soto has been recognized among Georgia Trend’s 500 Most Influential Georgians as well as GHCC’s list of influential Latinos.

“The Augusta Metro Chamber’s annual Best In Business awards include Augusta’s Entrepreneur…and Corporation of the Year…recognizing outstanding leaders and organizations making a meaningful difference across the region.”

Both honorees were selected for demonstrating innovation and resilience while maintaining strong ties to local economic development.

The Augusta Metro Chamber describes itself as “the largest business membership organization in the CSRA,” committed to promoting economic growth through business support and educational initiatives in Augusta.
