IAM members from the Southern Territory convened in Biloxi, Mississippi for the Southern States Conference. The event brought together delegates and leaders to focus on increasing solidarity and developing legislative and political strategies aimed at expanding union influence in the region.

During the conference, participants discussed methods to protect workers’ rights, increase union membership, and promote policies that benefit working families across southern states.

According to organizers, these efforts are intended to build a stronger foundation for pro-worker initiatives throughout the South.
